USC Keck School of Medicine's Medical Humanities Student Interest Group

Our mission is to provide a community for students of the Keck School of Medicine who are interested in the study of medicine and its intersection with the humanities.

 

MHIG is focused on building a community for KSOM students interested in the medical humanities. We represent the medical humanities in a broad sense, welcoming students who want to explore how medicine relates to literature, ethics, philosophy, anthropology, sociology, and the arts. Our goal is to provide students with the resources needed to continue their artistic endeavors through medical school and to enhance their medical education with an interdisciplinary study of the human condition.
