USC Keck School of Medicine's Medical Humanities Student Interest Group
Keck Medical Humanities
student interest group
How we began
In 2014, a group of MS1s decided to start the Keck Medical Humanities Student Interest Group (MHIG) in order to help grow and explore the interests we had outside of medicine.
Philosophy
In medical school, many of us come from unique backgrounds. Art. Writing. Acting. This group unites us and helps us nurture those interests while we pursue our medical degrees.
Our Work
MHIG partners with different SIGs and academic departments to offer unique events in literature, anthropology, art, ethics, and more. Check out our Projects to see what's going on.
